Ms. Meghna Venkat

Meghna Venkat is a Bharatanatyam artist trained for 12 years in Kalakshetra style. She is a Disciple of Padmashri. Shri. Adyar.K.Lakshman, and has completed Masters in Performing arts from Bangalore University. She has also undergone training in Kuchipudi and Kathak. She is a graded artist in Doordarshan, has been awarded Nritya Kowmudhi and is a PR in BIAF. For the benefit of school children, she has also conducted workshops with "The Times of India' for an year.

She has rendered performances in India and abroad. A few :
· 'Ananya' festival in Delhi.
· Malaysia and USA.
· December season in  
  Chennai in Kalarasana and
  Narada Gana Sabha.
· Government award
  functions in Shanmukha-
  nanda Audi, Mumbai.
· Kolkatta - Govt. Tourism
  festival.
· Production of Satyu Saab
  at Golconda.
