Ninad Center for Performing Arts offers 7 year Diploma course in Kathak affiliated to Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (ABGMVM), Mumbai.
Rules and Regulations
Eligibility - Minimum age for admission is 7 years complete.
Fees - Fee for basic level is Rs. 1500/- per month and gradually increases for higher levels.
Fees is payable in 3 installments as given below:
First Installment – Between 1st to 20th February (For Feb-Mar-April-May)
Second Installment – Between 1st to 20th June (For June-July-Aug-Sept)
Third Installment – Between 1st to 20th October (For Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan)
Late Fees of Rs. 100/week is Payable after the due date
Attendance
Minimum 80% attendance is compulsory to appear in exam. Students are expected to be ready for the class at the given time with ghongroos properly tied. Parents of small kids must accompany them in the class and help them to tie the ghungroos and reach 10 minutes before pickup time.
Change of Batch
Request for changing the batch, day or time will not be entertained in the same academic year. Students will have to continue the same batch for entire session. However, for some genuine problems the request can be considered subject to availability in the other batch, days or timings.
Exams
A.B.G.M.V.Mandal conducts exams twice in a year (Nov-Dec Session) but our session is from Jan to Dec and at our center the exams will be conducted only in Nov- Dec session.
Vacations
Winter Vacations – 15th to 31st Dec *
*Above dates are tentative. Vacation starts immediately after the exam day in the month of Dec
Summer Vacations – 1st to 31st May
Dress Code
All students are required to wear chudidar/legging, kurta and dupatta.
Shorts, tights and short tops without dupatta, jeans – T-Shirt or any other western style dresses are strictly not allowed in the class.
All students should carry Ghungroos, Note Book, Pen, Water Bottle and Napkin along with them in every class. The Note Books should be complete and updated with the entire lessons taught in the class.
Dupatta should be properly pined up and hair should be properly tied behind to avoid any kind of disturbance in the practice.
Students failing to follow the above rule may be restricted to dance in the class for that particular session; however, they can sit and watch the session.
